Carson Energy Services has evolved from
its first incarnation as a small welding contractor in 1974
to one of the energy services industry's most respected companies
today, covering four provinces with 13 full-service locations.
With an exceptionally diverse array of services,
CES is well positioned to serve its clientele anywhere in
Saskatchewan, Alberta, B.C. and Manitoba.
History
The Company has grown exponentially in the past
35 years. Originally set up as a small contractor with a single
welding truck, the Company has become a major competitor in
the energy services sector of Western Canada. Crew trucks
and construction equipment were added to the Company's repertoire.
Through the hard work and perseverance of its founder, Ron
Carson, CES has been able to evolve along with a changing
industry, experiencing sustained and profitable growth.
In 1985, the Company hit the milestone of exceeding
100 employees, and in the 1990s, professionals in accounting,
safety and quality control joined the Carson team. As time
went on, the Company diversified to encompass services throughout
the industry, and became known for cost effective, safe and
environmentally responsible solutions for its clientele.
Today, more than 900 individuals are proud to
call CES their employer. The Company's inventory includes
some 2,500 pieces of equipment, and CES prides itself on its
track record of delivering on its promises, and maintaining
its commitment to the industry, its employees, its communities
and its clients.
In March, 2009 the Company changed its name
to Carson Energy Services in order to better reflect the increased
range of services it offers - but kept the character, quality,
dedication and service on which our clients have come to rely.
Commitment to Industry
CES has produced an Audited Safety Program with
proven results, a largeand experienced employee base, qualified
personnel in the areas of welding procedures, code compliance
and Quality Assurance/Quality
Control, whether ASME or CSA/CWB. The Company developed a
comprehensive SQL-based Safety Database which ensures that
all employees are current on safety certification, and tracks
safety procedures, and a Project Job Costing program which
allows for efficient and consistent job pricing and cost tracking. CES employs the most modern technology
available in the Administration, Safety, and Quality Control/Quality
Assurance areas.
Commitment to Employees
In an industry with significant turnover rates,
CES has been able to attain the status of 'employer of choice'
by recognizing its employees' contributions, placing value
on their skills and efforts, and offering a
range of benefits. In short, we value people, and want them
to share in our success. With a focus on safety, respect,
honesty and trust, and quality of life for our employees,
combined with a drive toward excellence, CES has an excellent record of retaining workers.
Commitment to Communities
Carson Energy Services takes pride in upholding
an active role to enhance its communities, through donations
to sporting and community groups, and contributions of funds,
labour and equipment to community projects. CES also supports
its employees in being active in community involvement, through
sponsorship or making time available when possible.

Our client commitment includes quality service,
timeliness and efficiency, the ability to fulfill customer
needs with a variety of services, outstanding communications,
and using the most progressive methods and technology to make
sure the job is done right. Our care and concern for our customers

to our success.
